I tried it today. Made a little additions- added Maggi's Chicken Masala. Turned out as good as spicy chicken chunks. Thank you :)

This was the first time I ever used soya chunks. I had found your recipe and decided to give it a try. I soak them in water with veggie bouillon. After that I made a big mistake and added all of the spices on top of the soya chunks and then realized I wasn't supposed to do that. I got off as much as I could and then continued with the onion and making the paste. It came out way too hot so I wound up turning this into a wonderfully delicious curry. Because of the heat, I added a can of coconut milk. I then added some frozen peas, red kidney beans, and spinach. It is absolutely delicious. Thank you so much for my first experience using Soya chunks to have turned out so well.

You haven't mentioned at what stage to add curry leaves . Usually these are added while tempering. Also you mention to keep adding oil as required , is this before adding the soya chunks?
