Ripe ones are the best. You can still use the semi-ripe ones. Initially, before adding the rose apples, use cleaned and dried container. Later, after filtering the wine, you can just reuse the container. No need to clean it again.
Yes, Whole Wheat / Kernels is the wheat grains. The husk peels off eventually. Finally, you separate it with the other sediments, when you filter the wine.
